Love, love, love your blog…I was so inspired, I started my own closet project and in 5 days decided to do my own ban through Labor Day…my husband laughed as I was “stocking up”, sure that I was buying 4 months at once…(Not true, but I’d be lying if there weren’t a few things purchased simply out of panic). I have struggled dressing myself as a new mom who works from home…I used to get dressed up for work all of the time and still find myself buying what I might wear in to the office, or on an outing or date night, which don’t get that much use!…I buy when I’m happy, stressed, sad, bored, many on impulse and I get a little sick about the stuff that I’ve worn once or twice and wonder why I should keep it now. Thanks so much for sharing, and inspiring, I’ll be reading the rest of your journey and reigning myself in…no new clothes, shoes or accessories (one swimsuit I’m waiting for a promo code for) until Labor Day. Here we go.

      Hi Kristin,
Thanks so much for all your kind words – and yay, I’m glad you’re trying your own challenge! I absolutely know what you mean – I definitely bought a few things out of panic on my last day :-). (Some of which, honestly, I still haven’t worn – and I’m trying to decide if they’re worth keeping or if I should return ’em!) I totally shopped with your habits – bored, frustrated, stressed – and yay you! We can totally do this! I’m so glad to have you on board – please keep me posted on how it’s going! (And if you want to share with the blog-readers, lemme know – I’m happy to feature anyone who’s doing this on their blog or if you want to guest post!)

Hi! I found your blog earlier this week and have really enjoyed reading about your challenge. I know I am not brave enough to take on such a challenge so I’m going to absorb as much as I can from your experience.

Hi Fallon! I’m so glad you’re joining me on this journey – if you decide it’s something you do want to do for yourself, feel free to hop on board 🙂 it’s less scary from the inside, which is, I’ll admit, a big relief 🙂
